Current Sponsorships

Like any charity, we depend solely on the goodwill of people and organizations for our proper functioning and survival. Our needs are growing, as you can best understand in our "Support Us" section, and to meet those needs, we require donations. We have members overseas who are working every day towards raising money and securing donations. In this page, we will periodically add people or organizations that have been kind enough to help us.

DR. RAPHAEL CASTAN

We are proud to announce the internationally recognized Dr. Raphael Castan as the latest person to come in aid of our cause. Although his donation will not go directly to us, our foundation was able to broker the bequest of 20 pacemakers that will go to the "Centro de Salud-Hospital Rocafuerte" in Manabi. This hospital will in turn implant them in indigent patients in the region. Even though this falls out of our usual scope of operation, we support any effort to help the poor and underprivileged in Ecuador.

Dr. Castan is a cardiologist at the Jean-Talon hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
